Pimento Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. American cheese
    1 large can (14 1/2 oz.) evaporated milk
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Pour milk in top of a double boiler; cut cheese into small chunks.
    Add to milk.
    Cook over hot water, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
    Chop pimentos; add to cheese mixture. Stir in salt and paprika.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool.
    Store in covered dish in refrigerator.
    Makes about 1 pound.
