Valeska'S Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream or buttermilk

Preparation

Cream together the Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Add the vanilla and bananas.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture with the sour cream or buttermilk.
Bake in a tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
