Coconut Caramel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix white sugar and cornstarch; add brown sugar.
    Add milk and butter.
    When butter melts, add milk mixture in cup with beaten egg yolks and add to rest of milk mixture.
    Stir until thick. Beat and add coconut.
    Beat egg whites until stiff with 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar.
