Popcorn-Gumdrop Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. marshmallows
    5 qt. popped corn
    1/2 lb. roasted peanuts
    1 lb. small gumdrops (mixed colors)
    gumdrop flowers (optional)
Preparation
    Combine butter and marshmallows in Dutch oven; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted.
    Add popcorn, peanuts and gumdrops, stirring until blended.
    Press mixture into well buttered 10-inch tube pan until top is level all around.
    Chill until firm.
    Invert cake onto serving plate. Garnish with gumdrop flowers, if desired.
    Use an electric knife to slice as thin slices cannot be made easily with a knife.
