Hot Creole Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. celery
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 lb. hot smoked sausage, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Chop and saute onion and celery in oil.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and chili powder; simmer 15 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch in water; stir in sauce until thick.
    Add hot smoked sausage.
    Add chopped green pepper and simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
