Abbie'S Salad Or Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    3 oz. box lime jello
    2 (3 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. diced maraschino cherries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Heat pineapple to the boiling point.
    Remove from heat; add jello.
    Refrigerate until partly jelled.
    Soften cream cheese; add diced cherries and chopped nuts, then fold in whipped cream and add to pineapple and jello mixture.
    Pour into mold or square glass dish, 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch.
    Let set in refrigerator. Cut in squares or spoon onto dish.
    Good with ham dinners or as a cool summer dessert.
