Luscious Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Add boiling water to Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
    Add berries and mix gently.
    Chill until slightly congealed.
    Add pineapple and juice and nuts.
    Mix. Pour 1/2 Jell-O mix into lightly oiled 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan or fancy mold.
    Chill slightly. Fold sour cream into remaining mixture.
    Pour carefully into mold and chill until set.
    Serve on crisp lettuce.
    Makes 12 servings.
