Corned Beef And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. well trimmed corned beef brisket
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 medium onion, quartered
    1 medium head green cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large pan. Cover with water (enough water to cover all ingredients). Cook on stove top for approximately 2 hours. For crisp cabbage, put in cabbage about 1 1/2 hours after other ingredients have cooked. Cook on medium heat.
