Bacon, Cheese And Tomato Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) loaf garlic buttered French bread
    4 medium or 2 large ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped fresh basil leaves
    1 1/2 to 2 c. (6 to 8 oz.) shredded Cheddar, Monterey Jack or Chedarella cheese
    6 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat bread according to package directions; split loaf lengthwise.
    Place loaf halves, split side up on cookie sheet.
    To assemble, sandwich layer each half evenly with tomato, basil, cheese and bacon.
    Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until cheese is melted.
