Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large bell peppers
    2 lb. ground round
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 (No. 2) can whole tomatoes
    1 small onion
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 egg
    garlic powder
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Parboil bell peppers (cut off tops and reserve edge flesh to dice) approximately 10 minutes.
    Cook rice.
    Mix meat, diced onion, diced bell pepper tops, tomatoes, cooked rice, egg and seasonings with hands (mush up good).
    Spoon into bell pepper shells and place in deep baking dish; cover with tomato sauce (diluted with 1/2 can water).
    Cover dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
