Ingredients

2 sticks butter (room temperature)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 c. salad oil
1 c. rolled oats
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, mixing well.
Add salad oil, mixing well.
Add oats, corn flakes, nuts and coconut, stirring well.
Add flour, soda and salt.
Mix well and add vanilla.
