Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. smoked sausage (links), thinly sliced
    1 can tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. bell pepper
    2/3 c. uncooked rice
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 small bay leaf
    1 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    In ovenproof dish, cook sausage until lightly brown.
    Add onion and bell pepper; cook until tender.
    Stir in rice, broth, tomatoes and seasonings.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff lightly with fork.
    Remove bay leaf.
