Chicken Livers And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 large chopped onion
    3 lb. chicken livers, chopped
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. rice
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until brown.
    Add livers and 1/2 cup water.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Wash rice well and add 4 cups water. Boil 10 minutes.
    Add chicken livers to rice.
    Simmer covered until rice is done.
    Season with salt and pepper.
