Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 medium onion, minced
    1 clove garlic minced
    1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. sherry
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
    3/4 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a 3 to 4-quart saucepan, brown beef with onion and garlic. Remove any grease.
    Add tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup and rest of ingredients except sour cream; mix well.
    Cover and simmer about 30 minutes; stir occasionally.
    Add sour cream, salt and pepper; reheat, but do not boil.
    Serve over noodles (the wide ribbon ones).
    Freeze any leftovers for another meal.
    Serves 8.
