Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 double layer size German chocolate cake mix
    1 large can evaporated milk
    6 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 (12 to 14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Mix cake mix, 3/4 cup milk and margarine; spoon half the batter into the pan.
    Bake for 6 minutes, or until it starts to get firm.
    Melt caramels with the remaining milk.
    Remove cake from oven.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecans.
    Spoon caramel over chips and nuts.
    Spoon remaining batter on top.
    Top with remaining chips and nuts.
    Return to oven; bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cake springs back when touched.
    Cool before cutting.
