Nanny'S Famous Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. butter or shortening
    2 Tbsp. regular shortening
    buttermilk (enough to make a dough mixture)
Preparation
    Using a fork, cut the shortening into the flour until crumbly. Use enough buttermilk (about 1/2 cup to start) to form dough. Keep adding buttermilk until the dough is a little wet.
    Take floured hands; make medium size ball with dough.
    Place on cookie sheet; brush with a little buttermilk.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
