Grandmother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream butter; add Crisco.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Add sugar, a little at a time.
    Cream thoroughly.
    Add eggs one at a time. Beat well.
    Add milk, flour, baking powder, vanilla and lemon. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Put in middle of cold oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
