Best Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients.
Cut in butter until crumbly, then add egg yolk and vanilla; blend thoroughly.
Pat 1/3 of dough on bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan with sides removed.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) 6 minutes or until golden; cool.
Butter sides of pan and attach to bottom.
Pat remaining dough evenly on sides to height of 2 inches.
