Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. medium carrots, cut into 1/2-inch diagonal slices
3 Tbsp. margarine
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Place carrots in saucepot; cover with water.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt margarine. Add brown sugar, lemon juice and salt; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Drain carrots; add margarine mixture and toss gently. Yield: 6 servings.
