Ingredients

1 1/2 c. rice
2 c. dried peas
6 onions
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. tomatoes
Preparation

Soak the peas overnight.
Cook until tender.
Add the well washed rice, onions, tomatoes and seasoning.
Cook 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Yield:
8 servings.
