Corn Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

18 double saltine crackers, crushed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
1 c. milk, scalded
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
paprika
Preparation

Combine cracker crumbs, mustard and salt; set aside.
Beat egg yolks well.
Gradually stir in scalded milk and Tabasco sauce. Mix in cheese and corn.
Beat egg whites until stiff (not dry) and fold into mixture.
Pour into
a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Cover with cracker crumb mixture; spoon melted butter over top. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until golden brown and slightly firm to touch.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Serves 6.
