Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 well-beaten eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, soda and salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. raisins
    4 c. diced raw apples
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Sift together flour, spices, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture, stirring well.
    Now stir in nuts, raisins and apples.
    Pour into well-greased and floured pan.
    Makes 1 Bundt or 2 loaf size cakes. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
