Yoghurt Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. (1.5 kg) chicken pieces, skinned
    1 c. yoghurt
    1/2 c. butter
    10 peppercorns
    10 cardamon seed
    1 cinnamon stick
    1 small piece ginger, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. paprika
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in a deep lidded frying pan.
    Add onions, peppercorns, cardamon and cinnamon.
    Fry until onions are golden. Add ginger, garlic, chili powder, paprika and salt to taste.
    Fry for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add chicken pieces and fry until browned.
    Gradually add the yoghurt, stirring constantly. Cover and cook gently for about 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
