Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Mix flour with baking powder, salt and soda. Melt margarine; mix in sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture, a small amount at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir 1 cup chips into the batter. Spread in an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with remaining chips and nuts. Bake 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and cut. Makes 4 dozen.
