Pecan Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    sugar
    pecan halves
Preparation
    In
    a
    bowl,
    beat margarine or butter with an electric mixer on\tmedium\tto
    high
    speed
    about\t30 seconds or until softened. Add
    powdered
    sugar, about half of the flour, half of
    the
    milk and
    the
    vanilla to the margarine.
    Beat until thoroughly combined,
    scraping
    sides\tof
    bowl occasionally. Then
    beat
    or stir
    in
    remaining
    flour\tand milk.
    Stir in chopped
    pecans. Drop
    dough from a rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart\ton an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    If desired, lightly press a pecan half in center of each cookie. Bake
    in
    a 375\u00b0
    oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are slightly golden.
    Remove
    cookies
    and
    cool
    on a wire rack. Makes about 48.
