Duxbury Baked Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. bread crumbs, Italian or plain
    1 stack Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. scallops
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan, mix in bread crumbs and crushed Ritz crackers.
    Put half of crumb mixture in a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan. Put scallops on top, then rest of crumb mixture.
    Pour cream over all, add a few extra pats of butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
