Easy Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. sliced, unpeeled cucumbers
    3 large sliced onions
    1/2 c. salt
    3 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onions and salt.
    Let stand 3 hours at room temperature.
    Drain.
    In a large pan, combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add cucumbers and onions.
    Heat again until mixture starts to boil. Pack in hot sterilized jars.
    Seal and store in refrigerator until needed.
