Banana Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Sift into creamed mixture alternately with the mashed bananas beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
    Set paper baking cups into muffin tins and fill 2/3 full with the banana muffin batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until muffins are golden brown on top and springy to the touch.
