American Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 lb. box lasagne noodles (cook with 1 Tbsp. oil)
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    8 oz. Swiss cheese or Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Combine
    beaten
    eggs with 2 teaspoons salt and pepper; set aside.
    Brown
    meat
    slowly;
    spoon
    off excess fat.
    Add garlic, basil,
    oregano,
    sugar, parsley flakes, tomatoes and tomato paste.
    Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine cottage
    cheese
    with
    beaten eggs.
    Place half noodles in buttered 13 x
    9 x 2-inch pan.
    Spread half cottage cheese mixture over
    noodles.
    Add
    half cheese (Mozzarella or Swiss), save other half for
    top.
    Add
    half
    of meat mixture. Repeat layer.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
