Chicken Breasts Diane - cooking recipe

4 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. olive oil or salad oil
2 Tbsp. oleo or butter
2 Tbsp. brandy or cognac or white wine
juice of 1/2 lime or lemon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 c. chicken broth
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives or green onions
Preparation

Place chicken breast halves between wax paper; pound slightly with a mallet.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
