Sour Cream Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. Baker's chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. cake flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. water
    2 c. soured whipping cream (add about 1 Tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar to sour)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and water together in double boiler and cool. Mix remaining ingredients with chocolate mixture.
    Makes 3 layers. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Use any canned chocolate icing and sprinkle liberally with chopped pecans.
