Granny'S Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. quick cooking macaroni
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 c. milk
salt to taste (I use about 1/2 tsp.)
Preparation

Cook macaroni in water, salted to taste.
When cooked tender, drain in colander.
Beat egg with fork (well beaten).
Pour in milk and salt, blending with the beaten egg.
Spray casserole or baking dish with Pam.
Layer macaroni; sprinkle cheese over each layer. Pour milk mixture over this.
Milk should rise almost to cover macaroni.
If it doesn't, add a little more milk.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until cheese on top begins to brown slightly and macaroni is set.
If it browns before it sets, lower oven.
Can be made ahead and frozen.
Serves 6 to 8.
