Broccoli Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch fresh broccoli
    1 medium head fresh cauliflower
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 medium purple onion, sliced thin and separated into half rings
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    1/3 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces and combine with sliced half onion rings.
    Prepare several hours ahead and refrigerate.
    Combine the cooking oil, sugar, mayonnaise, white vinegar, salt, pepper and dry mustard.
    Mix with electric mixer or food processor.
    Pour over the vegetables 1 hour before serving. Stir once or twice during the standing time.
    Serves 10 to 12.
