Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

6 qt. popped corn
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Place popped corn in a shallow pan in slow oven (300\u00b0) to keep warm while cooking syrup.
Mix sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook until a soft ball is formed when a small amount is tested in cold water.
Mix syrup and popped corn. When cool enough to handle, butter hands and shape mixture into balls, pressing lightly.
Yields about 24 balls, 3-inches in diameter.
