Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 envelope onion soup mix (make soup)
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce (family size)
    2 (No. 2 1/2) cans pork and beans
Preparation
    Cook beef, onion and green pepper together until meat is browned; drain.
    Add remaining ingredients; simmer on stove or in crock-pot.
    This may be eaten when all ingredients are thoroughly hot or may simmer for several hours.
    Taste improves with cooking.
