25 mL Elmer's Glue-All white glue
20 mL water
5 mL 20 Mule Team Borax (use 1 level Tbsp. Borax for each 1 c . of water)

Silly Putty is a silicone polymer, originally made in 1941 in an unsuccessful attempt to manufacture a silicone based synthetic rubber.
This recipe makes a Silly Putty type material from Elmer's Glue and 20 Mule Team Borax.
