Mexican Chicken - cooking recipe

4 or 5 chicken breasts
1 small onion, chopped
8 to 10 slices American or Velveeta cheese
1 (9 oz.) bag nacho cheese Doritos, crushed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes with chilies, diced
Preparation

Cook chicken in water until done, approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Debone chicken and cut chicken into small pieces.
Place 1/2 of chicken pieces into a greased 3 to 4-quart casserole dish. Layer half of onion, half cheese, then half of crushed chips over chicken. Combine soups and Ro-Tel tomatoes; pour 1/2 mixture over chicken mixture. Repeat layering once more with chicken, onion, cheese, chips and last soup mixture. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Garnish top of casserole with a few chips.
