Fresh Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bananas
    2 apples
    4 oz. sugar
    1/2 pt. water
    2 oranges
    any other fruit available
    1/2 lemon
Preparation
    Place water and sugar in saucepan.
    Cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour syrup into mixing bowl.
    When cool, add lemon juice.
    Prepare fruit.
    Add cut fruit to syrup.
    Serve well chilled.
