Chicken That Makes Its Own Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fryer, cut up, or 4 to 6 chicken breasts
    1/4 c. flour
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. evaporated milk or fresh milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. mild Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Coat
    chicken
    with
    flour.
    Arrange in single layer in melted butter
    in
    13
    x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, for 30
    minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Turn chicken over and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. Remove from oven.
    Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0.
    Combine milk,
    soup,
    cheese, salt and pepper.
    Spread mixture over chicken.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover with foil and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
