Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    4 squares unsweetened chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate in top of double broiler, add sugar gradually, about 1/4 cup at a time.
    Blend thoroughly before each additional ingredient.
    Add salt.
    Slowly stir in evaporated milk. Continue to cook about 7 or 8 minutes to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
