Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 stick butter
    3 cans chicken broth (I use Swanson)
    10 to 12 medium potatoes, diced
    1 1/2 to 2 pt. half and half
Preparation
    Saute green onions and onion in butter until tender.
    Add broth and bring to a boil.
    Add potatoes and cook until tender, then mix in pot.
    Add half and half and season to taste.
