St. Louis Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. chocolate chips
3 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
4 egg yolks, beaten
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 prepared yellow cake or pound cake
1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped and sweetened
Preparation

Put chocolate chips in top of a double boiler with sugar, water and beaten egg yolks.
Stir over heat until thick and melted.
Take off the heat and cool slightly.
After it has cooled, add the egg whites.
