Asparagus Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches fresh asparagus
    1/2 lemon
    2 c. cheese sauce, heated
    1/2 grated Gruyere cheese
    salt
    pepper
    paprika
Preparation
    Pare asparagus if needed and trim off tough ends.
    Wash asparagus, then place in saucepan with salted boiling water.
    Drop in 1/2 lemon and cook 12 to 18 minutes, depending on size.
    Do not overcook.
    Test if asparagus are cooked by prickling with sharp knife.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Drain asparagus well.
    Place in buttered baking dish and cover with cheese sauce.
    Top with grated Gruyere cheese.
    Brown in oven 12 minutes.
    Serve.
