Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian or hot sausage or hamburger
    1 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. whole basil, crumbled
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. tomatoes
    12 oz. tomato paste
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly; spoon off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Stir now and then.
    Cook lasagna noodles as directed.
