Country-Style Skillet Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless pork loin or shoulder (1-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 (11 3/4 oz.) bottle stir-fry sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 medium onion, cut in 3/4-inch chunks
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Green Giant frozen San Francisco style vegetables
Preparation
    Cut pork into 1-inch cubes; coat with mixture of cornstarch, pepper and garlic powder.
    Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add pork and brown on all sides.
    Remove pan from heat.
    Combine stir-fry sauce and water; stir into skillet. Cover and return pan to heat.
    Simmer 20 minutes, stirring once. Stir in onion and mixed vegetables.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Serve over hot rice.
