No Fail Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can fruit (peaches, apples, cherries, etc.)
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick butter in a 2-quart baking dish.
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and milk.
    Pour over melted butter, then pour hot fruit over batter.
    Do not stir.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
