Rock Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo white syrup
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Boil to hard stage (310\u00b0) and remove from heat.
    Add flavoring and color.
    Stir.
    Put on cutting board sprayed with Pam and buttered.
    Cut immediately with scissors and put candy pieces in confectioners sugar; shake off excess.
