Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 rib or boneless pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    3 to 4 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 c. ginger ale
    1/4 c. diced pimento (optional)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen baby lima beans
    1 (8 oz.) can baby onions or quartered onions
Preparation
    Combine seasonings and rub on chops.
    Brown chops in hot fat. Combine bouillon cubes and ginger ale.
    Pour on chops and simmer 1/2 hour.
    Cook lima beans until just tender and drain.
    Combine beans, pimento and onions in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Place chops on top and cover tightly with foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
