Oven Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes
    2 tsp. thyme
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Cut potatoes lengthwise into thick slices (leave peel on potatoes), then into 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch thick strips.
    Toss potatoes with oil, spread on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with thyme.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes, turning every 10 minutes, until potatoes are brown and crisp.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
