Peach Or Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 stick oleo or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt oleo in bottom of baking dish; pour 1 large can of peaches and juice or 1 quart of apples.
    If apples aren't sweetened, use 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Make a batter with remaining ingredients.
    Pour batter over fruit; do not stir batter with fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done, about 25 to 30 minutes.
